Not a lot is known about Nissan’s next Z-car. Early in December of 2014, Nissan’s vice president and worldwide head of marketing, Roel de Vries, hinted that the 370 Z’s successor might have a variety of engines, depending upon a given market. Then, a week later, word spread that the next Z-Car would be launched as a convertible (they were calling it “The Z”) and would probably have a 2.0-liter, turbocharged, hybrid engine. We’re hoping to see the main launching of the next Z by 2018, but up until then let’s take a look at our making and exactly what we want to see when it makes an official launching in the coming years.
2018 Nissan Z Exterior
As you can see, we believe the 2018 Nissan Z will be low slung, and similar to the 370Z, just smaller. Up front, you’ll acknowledge a grille similar to what we see on the 2016 Nissan Sentra, but for the Z, we’ve expanded on it a bit. Rather of a thin, flat-V-shaped divider, the grille welcomes a wider divider with are vents on the sides and a big Nissan emblem right in the middle. The headlights are also of a similar design, but the external points– the ones that point towards the side mirrors– those are longer and more pronounced, giving the car a sportier set of eyes compared with the Sentra.
2018 Nissan Z Interior
I believe Nissan is anticipating a lot out of its next Z-car, so I think the interior will be reminiscent of the 2014 to 2015 370z Nismo, but a little better. The infotainment screen display will be of the touchscreen type, with most infotainment works done on screen– leaving no need for the control panel listed below the screen on the 370Z. I believe we’ll see the exact same Z-branded wheel, but it will be improved by a sleeker style and, by the time it is launched, it may even consist of some touchscreen manages itself. I suspect the seats will likewise be a combination of leather and Alcantara, however keep in mind that is just early-on speculation. As far as we understand, the next Z-car is stated to slot before the 370 and 350zs, so it will probably come at a lower price– eventually causing a less elegant cabin.
2018 Nissan Z Engine
It should be noted, the 2018 Nissan Z will be smaller and lighter, that V-6 might be toned down a lot more and still provide 0-to-60 mph times in the 5- to six-second variety. Of course, Nissan could establish an entire new V-6 for the next Z-car and if that is the case, who understands what we’ll see under the hood. Either way, I do not believe the brand name will let us down with the choice they make. We simply have to wait until the time comes to see what they create.
2018 Nissan Z Release Date and Price
The brand-new Z is anticipated to land in display rooms by 2018, with the base model priced in the low-$30,000 variety and the twin-turbo nearing $50K.
